WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

A wise woman once said: excellent people discuss ideas, mediocore people discuss events, inferior people discuss other people. This blog will be devoted mostly to ideas that I teach and write about. Ocassionally I will throw in some travel, recipes, movie reviews or other quirky indulgences. Since the state of our world and efforts to mend it are never far from my consciousness, you will also find some "current events" features under "tikkun olam." Please feel free to add your comments. beverly fuchs 1929-2007

I haven't blogged in several months as I have been caught up in the final illness and death of my mom, Beverly Fuchs. Here is a photo of her about 20 years ago with my daughters.

Dear Nancy,

I was checking on our JRF website and saw you had a blog. I was delighted to glanc through all the topics you entertained on your blog and look forward to sharing with you through this venue.

As delighted as I was to "sit and talk" with you once again, I was moved to send sympathies about your mother's death.

I hope to return to your site and put our heads together again.

Fond regards and sympathies.
